• Name — first and last name
• Email address — for registration confirmations, reminders, and announcements
• Phone number — for SMS/MMS race-day and event notifications (if you opt in)
• Vehicle information — car year, make, model, car number, vehicle description, engine description, and optional car photo
• Registration information — selected events, registration type, payment status, and registration number
• Event participation data — qualifying times, elimination results, attendance records, and championship points
• Location data — city and state (self-reported during registration)

We use your personal information to:

• Process event registrations and confirmations
• Send pre-event reminders (typically 2 weeks and 3 days before an event)
• Send SMS/MMS race-day notifications including weather alerts, calls to lanes, qualifying and elimination round updates, lane assignments, and schedule changes (only if you opt in)
• Track championship points, qualifying results, and elimination performance
• Publish leaderboard standings and race results on our public website
• Process payments through our payment provider (Stripe)
• Communicate with you about event updates, reschedules, or cancellations

If you opt in to SMS communications during registration, you consent to receive recurring automated SMS/MMS messages from Watercooled Promotions. These messages may include:

• Registration confirmations
• Pre-event reminders
• Call-to-lanes notifications
• Qualifying and elimination round updates
• Next round opponent and lane assignment notifications
• Weather and rain delay updates
• Event reschedule and cancellation notices

Message frequency varies based on event activity. On race days, you may receive multiple messages per hour during active competition.

Opt-out: You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. You can also reply HELP for assistance. Opting out of SMS does not affect your event registration or email communications.

Consent is not a condition of purchase or registration. You may register for events without opting into SMS messages.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information for marketing purposes.

We share data with the following service providers who act as our processors:

• Twilio — used as our SMS/MMS service provider to deliver text message notifications to racers who have opted in. Twilio receives your phone number and the content of SMS messages for the purpose of delivery.
• Stripe — used as our payment processor for registration fees and sponsor payments. Stripe receives payment and billing information.
• Resend — used as our email service provider to deliver transactional and broadcast emails.

We may also disclose information when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide our services. Racer registration data, points, and results may be retained indefinitely to maintain historical championship records. Phone numbers are retained for as long as you are an active participant and may be deleted upon request.

You have the right to:

• Opt out of SMS — reply STOP to any text message, or contact us to be manually removed
• Request access — ask what personal data we hold about you
• Request deletion — ask us to delete your personal data (subject to legal/operational requirements)
• Update your information — request corrections to your personal data
